Introduction and Rationale

There is an increasing need for structured, theologically sound, and practically oriented ministry training within Tanzania and the broader East African region. To address this, Success Bible Institute established a formal Bible School.

The objective is to provide a “comprehensive collection of studies designed to form a life-long toolkit for Pastoral leaders and new believers alike.” Recognizing the unique environment of East Africa, this institute aims to raise leaders who are culturally grounded yet theologically astute, capable of ministering effectively in both urban and rural settings.

Vision

To raise a generation of pastoral leaders and lay ministers in Tanzania and East Africa who are deeply rooted in sound doctrine, proficient in biblical exposition, and effective in pastoral care and evangelism.

Mission

To provide accessible, high-quality theological education that blends academic rigor with spiritual formation in English and Swahili, empowering students for effective service in the Church and the community.

Statement of Faith

The Institution adheres to a conservative, evangelical Statement of Faith, affirming the Trinity, the Deity of Christ, the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture, salvation by grace through faith, and the premillennial return of Jesus Christ.

Target Region and Deployment

The training is specifically designed to equip pastors and Christian workers who will be deployed across Tanzania and East Africa. The curriculum acknowledges the local cultural context while maintaining a strong global biblical perspective. Our goal is to see graduates establishing churches, leading existing congregations, and initiating community transformation projects throughout the region.

Language of Instruction

To ensure maximum comprehension and effectiveness in the local environment, all courses will be taught bilingually in English and Swahili. This approach ensures that students who are fluent in either language can fully engage with the deep theological concepts and practical ministry tools being offered.

  • Transport: Students must arrange their own travel to and from the study center.
  • Teaching Method: A blend of lecture-based instruction (in English and Swahili), seminar discussions, and practical field assignments (evangelism and visitation) relevant to the East African context.
